MENTAL HEALTH & ADDICTIONS PROGRAM FOR ADOLESCENTS
Mental Health & Addictions Treatment
Care Wellness offers a licensed residential treatment program for adolescents under 18 who are navigating mental health challenges, substance use concerns, or both.
What This Program Includes
Our Mental Health & Addictions Program balances structure with compassion. Youth are supported through consistent routines and relationship-based care that helps them feel safe, understood, and capable of moving forward.
Youth are supported through:
Daily routines that provide structure and predictability
Group-based activities that build connection, social skills, and a sense of belonging
Individual support that helps youth understand their emotions, make healthier choices, and build confidence
Opportunities to practice life skills in a safe, encouraging environment
This helps build skills that last, rather than feeling disconnected from everyday life. The program offers various lengths of stay depending on individual needs, progress, and family involvement.
Who This Program is For
This program provides consistent, structured support for adolescents who need more than weekly counselling and would benefit from a 24/7 supportive treatment environment.
This program may be a good fit for adolescents:
Experiencing mental health challenges, substance use concerns, or both
Who would benefit from daily structure, routine, and consistent support
Needing a safe space to work through what they're facing
Struggling to manage with current supports
If you’re unsure whether this level of support is appropriate, that’s okay. Our team can help you talk through what’s happening and what options may make sense.

Program Benefits
Individual and Group Support
Academic Continuity
Where appropriate, we work with families and schools to help youth stay connected to learning. School struggles are often tied to emotional challenges, and when we support both together, youth often find their way back to education more easily.
Our Mental Health & Addictions Program is built around consistent, supportive daytime experiences that help adolescents feel safe, understood, and capable.
Here is what youth will experience in the program:
Daily Structure and Routine
Predictable structure and clear expectations help youth feel grounded and secure. Routine creates the stability needed for growth and learning.
Youth receive one-on-one guidance tailored to their unique needs, alongside group-based activities that build connection, social skills, and a sense of belonging.
Connection and Belonging
Youth receive one-on-one guidance tailored to their unique needs, alongside group-based activities that build connection, social skills, and a sense of belonging, helping reduce isolation.
Skill-Building for Real Life
Support focuses on practical skills youth can carry forward: emotional awareness, responsibility, healthier coping, and decision-making.
Family Involvement
Families aren’t left on the sidelines. We stay in contact, involve families in planning, and support progress beyond the program environment.
A Truly Home-Like Environment
Our residential home is not a hospital, and it’s not a clinic, It’s a safe space that feels comfortable and secure. It provides structure and 24/7 supervision without feeling overly rigid.
Staff Who Genuinely Care
Our highly-trained and specialized team members see all of our youth as individual people, not as a number or a diagnosis.
